Yes, I have leaped over the hurdle known as knitting. I am happily buzzing away on a hat right at this very moment. A hat that should have been done two days ago, but that I am still slogging away at, because the owner of the consignment shop requested one to sell, and i am honoring that request because even though I only get 50% of what is sold, it's still a bit more money than I have now, and I hope i sell something soon.

And yes, I actually have real needles now, thanks to the kindness of Ravelers. Not only do I have needles, but I also now possess my first alpaca yarn, which excites me tremendously. Now I just have to figure out what          
to make with it.
